Fluffy Bunnies & Fishing in Devon

With clear blue skies and the sun shining at long last, no one could help smiling this morning let alone me - this smile broadened even further when to the delight of my two young daughters we saw a baby rabbit, 'baby bunny' to them dart across the lane on our way to School and again on my way back from dropping them off. Surely this must be a true sign that Spring is indeed on it's way, let us hope - well afterall Good Friday doubles up as the first official day of Spring!!!

Easter and Spring conjure up all sorts of images. Chocolate eggs, the Easter Bunny, egg rolling and hunts. Daffodils and we have plenty of Daffodils down by our Devon Fishing Holiday lakes and also around our Self-catering Cottage (& Fishing); religious images - Jesus on the cross. And for some it's time to clear the cobwebs away literally by a spot of spring cleaning!

We have been doing a spot of spring cleaning here at Newbarn Farm - some serious Spring cleaning . We have been moving our fish around to make for a much better specimen lake in Mirror, a match lake in Willow and a good all rounder in Island. All of this to make your Devon Fishing Holiday an even better experience. Plus we have now opened up all the banks on our two smaller pools, Rosie and Lulu so that even more of you - especially the juniors can fish for small silver fish and carp alike. Yes you guessed it - all of this work carried out to make everyone's Fishing Holidays in Devon far more memorable and hopefully one of the best self-catering Cottage & Fishing holidays that many of you have ever had!

Fishing in Devon here at Newbarn Farm - a great Easter treat! Daffodils, lambs frisking in the meadows, forget the chocolate bunnies - we've got real ones! And most importantly of all fantastic Holiday Cottages & Fishing.
