Hi everyone

Haven't got a catch report for you today, but Robbie Deacon had a couple of Beauties, just click on them for the bigger picture, Devon fishing at Newbarn Farm Angling Centre, it doesn't get much better than this, bigger but not better.

17 lb 10 oz, Common Carp

19 lb 2 oz, Common Carp

Here is some seasonal Bait information you might find interesting for your Devon Fishing

Baits at Newbarn in the Seasons

Well here we are over half way through the year and it is meant to be hot, hot, hot. But instead it’s rain, rain, rain.

This time of year (the summer HA HA) the fish tend to go for a fishmeal type bait Trout Pellets, Squid and Octopus, M8s etc

Autumn into winter and through the winter seasons, fruity type baits seem to do well with the favourites being Banana and Pineapple boilies but never rule out the old Tutti Fruity .

Coming back to spring into summer a mix of these baits will work.

But good all-rounder will always be good old sweetcorn, maggots, worm and luncheon meats always good for all fish.

Best of Luck with all your Devon Fishing.
