Charity Summer Fayre

We are keeping our fingers crossed that the improvement in the Summer weather conditions are in to stay! We hope that the sun will continue to shine over Newbarn Farm's first Summer Fayre! Set to begin at 11.00am on Sunday 19th August in Home Field, we have planned fun the whole family through to 4.00pm.

A local farmer has very kindly offered to hold sheep shearing demonstrations, children can sit on a real working tractor up in the hay field and have their photograph taken. Fishing fun for everyone, lots of traditional games (sack race, egg and spoon and not forgetting the 'Tug of War'. A giant chess set will keep the more studious ones occupied and for just a little bit of fun - basketball, an adult sized trampoline and table tennis will be available. A bouncy castle and face painting for the younger ones. Traditional Arts & Crafts and local food fayre stalls, plus a huge BBQ and our first beer tent selling amongst your favourite lagers some local beverages!

So let us hope that we have seen the last of the rains for a while and that the sun will indeed shine down on us on Saturday 19th August, so that we Newbarn Farm will be able to raise funds for the RNLI and for the local Primary School.

Hey, that sounds like fun! I hope I can make it, and I hope it goes well if I can't. :)
