Cider has long been part of the backbone of Devon and indeed Somerset. Richard and I were fortunate enough to live just a stone's throw away from Winkleigh Cider in mid-Devon, once the home of the all infamous 'Inches'. Not much has changed since then and with hand on heart we firmly believe that the cider from Winkleigh is by far one of the greatest ever to have passed our lips - so much so, we have without too much ado managed to convert family, friends and fellow fishing pals to the odd tipple now and then!
But we can offer you so much!
Book a holiday in one of our luxury self-catering cottages during the months of September* and October+ and we will award you with a bumper crop of offerings including a selection of Ciders and a South Devon hamper brimming with local produce.
